SeattleFWC26 Volunteer FAQ
Seattle is proud to be a Host City for the FIFA World Cup 26™. Volunteers are at the heart of this once-in-a-generation event, helping create a safe, welcoming, and unforgettable experience for fans, players, and visitors.
FIFA volunteers serve inside official venues like Lumen Field, supporting match operations, teams, and accredited areas. These roles are managed directly by FIFA through the FIFA Volunteer Program.
SeattleFWC26 serves across the Host City footprint—at our Fan Celebration at Seattle Center, Unity Loop, Last Mile, and along the waterfront. These roles focus on creating an unforgettable fan and community experience outside the stadium.
Both programs are coordinated through the FIFA Volunteer Portal, but SeattleFWC26 volunteers are coordinated locally in partnership with Washington Youth Soccer (WYS).
FIFA managed both programs' application process, and applications closed on October 10, 2025.
SeattleFWC26 is partnering with Washington Youth Soccer (WYS) to help recruit, train, and manage volunteers across the city. SeattleFWC26 volunteers are recruited and coordinated locally in partnership with Washington Youth Soccer (WYS).
