One of the six Seattle matches will feature the U.S. Men’s National Team on Juneteenth 2026. Having the U.S. Team playing in Seattle on Juneteenth creates a high-visibility, high-responsibility moment to introduce hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide to Juneteenth and to create benefit for local Black-owned businesses and arts and cultural organizations. The SeattleFWC26 Juneteenth Advisory Committee (JMAC) will convene from Fall 2024 through June 2026 to advise SeattleFWC26 as we prepare for the moment—and the responsibility—of hosting the Juneteenth Match.
