Seattle Public Utilities is hosting a free virtual training to help businesses and event organizers prepare for the surge of visitors coming to Seattle during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The session will cover Seattle's waste regulations, recycling and composting best practices, food waste reduction strategies, and where to access free resources like waste sorting signage and bins. Attendees will also have a chance to get questions answered live during a Q&A.
