OneCourt and Seattle FWC26™ Partner to Launch the First Tactile Broadcast at Club World Cup

Collaboration Enhances Accessibility for Blind and Low Vision Fans during Club World Cup Matches at Lumen Field
SEATTLE, WA (June 18, 2025) – Seattle FIFA World Cup 26™ local organizing committee – SeattleFWC26 – has partnered with OneCourt to debut OneCourt’s first tactile broadcast for soccer during the international club competition at Lumen Field this summer. Offered free of charge during Seattle Sounders matches, the activation ensures that Blind and Low Vision fans can experience the excitement in real-time. Five OneCourt devices will be available across the three matches, marking the debut of OneCourt’s live soccer experience and reinforcing SeattleFWC26’s commitment to accessibility and inclusive fan experience.
OneCourt’s cutting-edge technology transforms live gameplay data into real-time audio and trackable vibrations on their tablet-sized device. Blind and Low Vision fans can follow the action on the surface of the haptic display with their fingertips, while an earpiece provides live updates on the score and play outcomes, bringing the full energy of the match to life through touch.
“This is what legacy looks like in action,” said Peter Tomozawa, CEO of SeattleFWC26. “By partnering with a Seattle-born startup like OneCourt, we’re not only making matches more accessible for Blind and Low Vision fans—we’re lifting up local innovation and setting a new global standard for inclusion. This tactile broadcast is a powerful reminder that when the world comes to Seattle, they’ll experience more than a match. They’ll experience the heart of a community committed to equity, creativity, and impact.”
“Partnering with Seattle FWC26 to bring OneCourt to this summer’s tournament marks a major milestone in our mission to make sports accessible to all,” said Jerred Mace, CEO of OneCourt. “This is our first live soccer activation—an exciting step toward reaching a truly global audience through the world’s game. It’s also deeply personal: as a Seattle-based startup, this will be the first time OneCourt is officially available live for Seattle fans to experience one of their home teams. Bringing our technology to the city and community that helped shape us makes this moment especially meaningful.”
“Being able to sit next to my sighted partner and enjoy a game together at the same time was truly incredible. It was empowering to follow the ball and score on my own, without needing to ask. I finally felt included," said RJ Lenhart-Warabiminami.
OneCourt and SeattleFWC26 hosted fans from Seattle Children’s, National Federation for the Blind of Washington, and NW Association for Blind Athletes across the three games to use the technology and gather feedback about their overall in-stadium experience.
