SEA&WIN - Interactive Mobile App for Seattle’s FIFA World Cup Experience Is Live!

Grand Prize winners and a guest attend a match on us!
SEATTLE, WA — After a year of development and months of collaboration with communities across the state, the Seattle FIFA World Cup 2026™ Local Organizing Committee (SeattleFWC26) has officially launched their mobile app, SEA&WIN. Designed as an interactive mobile game, the app aims to bring the energy and excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ to life across Seattle and Washington State.
Created as part of a commitment to broaden the benefits of hosting a mega-event, SEA&WIN extends the impact of the tournament far beyond the stadium. The app guides players to small businesses, cultural landmarks, public art, and community spaces throughout the region—dispersing the benefits of hosting the world’s largest sporting event shared by neighborhoods and fans throughout the city, region, and state.
“Our goal was to create an interactive and fun platform for tourists and local alike to explore, play, and win prizes along the way,” said Hedda McLendon, Senior Vice President of Legacy for Seatle FWC26 and leader of the app development process. “SEA&WIN was developed alongside community partners to highlight the diverse people, places, cultures, and cuisine of our region. We are proud of the results, and excited to see people out playing!”
With locational and in-game activities, SEA&WIN invites players to:
Explore – Discover Seattle and destinations statewide through themed tours and interactive walking “loops”.
Play & Learn – Engage in interactive mini-games, and trivia that spotlight the art, culture, history, and small businesses that make Washington extraordinary.
Earn Points – Check in at participating locations, answer quizzes, and complete challenges to collect points.
Win Prizes – Compete in six Prize Windows running from March through early July 2026, unlocking exclusive rewards, including invitations for 12 winners and a guest of their choice to attend a match on us.
Local soccer legends invited to preview the app shared their enthusiasm for the game play and learning opportunities.
“There is no better way to enjoy the weeks leading up to FIFA World Cup matches in Seattle than playing, and winning, on the SEA&WIN app,” said Sounder legend Brad Evans, who also made 27 appearances for the US Men's National Team over the course of his career. “Whether you are a casual fan interested in learning more about your community, or counting every minute until kickoff, there is always something new and fun to do on this great interactive experience.”
With hundreds of thousands of locals and visitors from around the nation and world expected to visit Seattle for the summer tournament, the app provides an enjoyable and immersive introduction to the people and places that make Washington State special.
“I would encourage anyone coming to visit Seattle throughout the tournament to download this app and get in on the action,” said former player and longtime Seattle University coach Pete Fewing, now a member of the Sounders broadcast team. "This is a great way to explore neighborhoods, learn about the art and culture of the city, and find some great places to eat and enjoy!”
As the only host city to design a bespoke app for the tournament, Seattle organizers worked in partnership with Yumebau Inc., an award-winning game studio and innovation lab known for its work in AAA game development and AR/VR experiences, with support from Legacy Partner the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. The app is free on iOS and Android systems.
“SEA&WIN is more than a game, it’s a way to highlight and celebrate the communities throughout Washington that have stepped up to welcome the world to enjoy the FIFA World Cup, and the joy of the tournament through prizes and memories,” said Seatle FWC26 CEO, Peter Tomozawa. “Even if you never set foot in the Seattle Stadium for the games, by simply walking with other fans through neighborhoods and communities celebrating the games you can be part of the action with SEA&WIN.”
